Lyn’s April Edit

Hi everyone! It’s Lyn here and I am so excited to share with you some of the products that I have been obsessed with this month!

Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base $60

This has been mentioned in so many YouTube videos that I finally broke down and shelled out the cash for this pricey primer. I have super dry skin so I am always looking for primers that prep my skin for makeup but also provide extra hydration and this one has been amazing. It provides enough moisture so my foundation does not look too dry or cakey and creates a perfect smooth canvas for makeup application. I will sometimes also use a smoothing primer in the areas where my pores are more noticeable and the combination of two is perfection!

Becca Hydra-Mist Set and Refresh Powder $38

I am always a little scared of using powder because it can really emphasize my dryness. After seeing a couple of reviews of this product I was obsessed with trying it out. This is definitely the most unique powder I have tried. It literally feels like water when you put it on which sounds so crazy but you really have to try it out to believe it. It does not look like powder on my skin but it definitely sets my makeup and takes away any extra shine that I may have on my forehead and chin. I don’t use this to set my under eye area but it is so amazing to use everywhere else. I also love it to touch up during the day because it doesn’t look cakey at all. Even if you don’t have an interest in buying it, I would still recommend going into Sephora and touching it because it feels so cool!

Makeup Revolution Mini Chocolate Bronze & Glow Duo $10

Because of my fair skin, I am so picky about bronzers because my biggest fear is looking too orange and a lot of shades are too warm for me. I was excited to try out this one from Makeup Revolution because it was only $10 so I figured, why not? This works so well as a contour shade for me. I have been applying it with a duo fiber brush (I really like this one from Eco Tools) and it blends out so nicely. The highlight is also pretty nice although I have been so obsessed with the Amrezy highlight from ABH that I only want to use that one. My only complaint is that I wish the bronzer portion was bigger or that they sold the bronzer alone. But for only $10 I won’t be too upset if I have to buy another one.

Kora Organics Noni Radiant Eye Oil $38

I am a huge fan of using beauty oils under my eyes before applying makeup because it really helps that area not look too dry and cakey. I love this product because the roller applicator makes it so easy to apply. I have been using it day and night and I really feel like my under eye area is much brighter and my dark circles are less noticeable. This has definitely become a must have product for me.

NYX Slip On Lip Pencil in Nude Suede Shoes $7.99 & Tom Ford Lip Color in Paper Doll $54

This has been my go to lip combo. The Tom Ford lipsticks are outrageously expensive but the color is so beautiful and they feel so nice on the lips. I have actually owned this one for a little while and at first I felt like it was too pink on me and I didn’t love it. I recently pulled it back out and tried combining it with the NYX liner and I absolutely loved it. The Nude Suede Shoes shade is the perfect nude color that I really think would go with almost anything!

Thank you so much for checking out my favorites this month! I hope you find some things that you are excited to try out!
