Okay guys I am in desperate need of some help talking me out of some beauty purchases. So I thought I would share with you some of the items on my wishlist and you could tell me whether they are worth the $$$ or way over hyped. Lets dive right into the list…
First up the Dior Addict Matte Lip Glow in 101 Matte Pink $34. I have previously bought the Lip glow in coral and love it but I am not sure if the matte formula packs the same punch. And of course this shade is online only at Sephora so I can’t even swatch it in store (why must they make things so difficult). So have you guys tried this product before? ket me know if you think it is worth the $$ or over hyped! Also I wonder if there are any good dupes out there…
Next is the RMS Beauty Un Cover Up Concealer / Foundation $36. I have heard some conflicting things about this product and the brand as a whole. But one of my favorite Youtubers (Allana Davison) raves about this product so I am super tempted to give it a try. I also love a good light weight base so the description of this product sounds right up my alley. Again with Sephora only having products online….but I have heard a rumor that this just showed up in my local Blue Mercury so I might have to swatch it in store. What are your thoughts ??
The Lilah B. Bronzed Beauty Bronzer Duo $42 has been on my wishlist for ages. I love every thing about this brand’s aesthetic and packaging. But $42 for a small little bronzer seems like a lot to me. Now the product looks absolutely stunning but again I just wish I could swatch it in store! Please someone tell me have you used this product?? Is it worth the hefty price tag?
The Maison Louis Marie No.09 Vallée de Farney Perfume Oil $57 was a product I was so shocked to see at Sephora. I had heard Estée Lalonde talk about this brand awhile back and I immediately added this scent to my wishlist. But again (do you notice a theme) I want to smell it in person before purchasing. I am desperately hoping that Sephora will start to carry this products in store soon. Until then any one have any tips about online perfume shopping??
Another product that one of my favorite you tubers (Samantha Ravndahl) raves about is the Hourglass Illume Sheer Color Trio $62. The shades in this palette look absolutely beautiful and they would be perfect for summer. I also like that it is pretty compact which would make it perfect for travel. Again I have two issues…I wish my Sephora store carried it in store and I wish it didn’t have such a hefty price tag. I do love every product that I have ever purchased from Hourglass but I would love to hear other peoples options on this product!
And finally the T3 Whirl Convertible Curling Wand $185. I have wanted a new curling wand ever since I cut my hair short. I have looked into other brands but always come back to this one for some reason. It has a super high price tag but I like that you can switch out the the actual curling wand for different attachments. I would love to hear if anyone has any recommendations for a product similar to this or if this is really worth all the $$$.
Thanks for your help in advance for sharing your thoughts and helping me narrow down my wishlist!
